Founder’s Story

 My name is Rene Parks-Dickerson. I am a woman of faith, driven by purpose and compassion. I’ve walked through unimaginable pain—losing my only child, my son’s father, my brother, and my 18-year-old grandson. Each loss tested my will to live. There were moments I didn't think I could continue, but through God's grace, I found strength. I turned my pain into power. That power is now poured into Silent Cry Mental Health, a nonprofit organization founded to support others walking their own path of silent suffering.
